If you have pork belly, lechon kawali is one of the best recipe you can make out of it. It is easy and to prepare in any occasions.
Ingredients:
- 1 lbs pork liempo (pork belly)
- 1 whole garlic, crushed
- 1 ground black pepper
- 2-3 tbsp salt
- water, just enough to cover the pork
Procedure:
- Put pork belly in a saucepan.
- Add enough water to cover the chicken.
- Add garlic, peppercorn and salt
- Cover and bring to boil until skin is tender.
- Drain and let cool.
- Deep fry the belly until golden brown.
- Cut into serving pieces.
- Serve with gravy or sweet and sour sauce.
