Garlic Buttered Shrimp

Easy to make  shrimp with garlic flavor dish that your family will love.


  • 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp
  • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, divided
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and  ground black pepper to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoon catsup
Cooking directions:

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. 
  2. Add shrimp, 1-2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper, to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Set aside.
  3. Add garlic to the same skillet, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
  4. Stir in remaining butter and catsup, Stir well.
  5. Add shrimp and gently toss to combine. Add more salt and pepper according ot your taste.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley leaves, if desired.
