How to enjoy eating yogurt
1. Top a daily cup of flavored yogurt with different topping of your choice for a good breakfast or snack.
2. Creamy yogurt make a great topping for cooked vegetables, mashed potatoes and any salad.

Some of the health benefits of yogurt

1.Rich source of calcium.Yogurt comes from milk that provides calcium to the bones which help in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. An 8 ounces serving of yogurt gets more calcium into the body than the same volume of milk can.

2. Aids healing after intestinal infections. Pediatricians recommend yogurt for children suffering from various forms of indigestion. Children recover faster from diarrhea when eating yogurt because it contains less lactose and more lactase. Lactase is an enzyme that prevent symptoms of lactose intolerance, such as cramps, diarrhea and gas.

3. Yogurt can boost immunity. People who eats yogurt daily gets higher levels of immunity boosting interferon. Interferon plays an important role in the first line of defense against viral infections.

4. Yogurt contributes to colon health. Yogurt contains good bacteria called lactobacillus that deactivate harmful bacterias before they become carcinogenic . Yogurt is ''probiotics.'',which literally means ''for life,'' refers to living organisms that can result in a health benefit when eaten in adequate amounts.

5. Yogurt can decrease yeast infections. Eating 8 ounces of yogurt that contains live and active cultures daily reduces the amount of yeast colonies in the vagina and decreases the incidence of vaginal yeast infections.

Blue Bell Ice Cream

I have been reading a lot about Magnum Ice Cream bar after its product launching in the Philippines. But not all the reviews are positive, one blogger even said that it is an expensive version of the Philippines famous pinipig (rice puff) crunch. Well, people has different taste when it comes to food, one food might be heaven to others but not to another one.The Belgian chocolate ice cream bar is available in 3 flavors for Php 50 each.

Curious about the taste and the price, I checked the Magnum out at Walmart Superstore to see if it is really  the best tasting  ice cream bar ever. Unfortunately the store only have the classic flavor at 3- bar pack, (3.38fl oz) for $3.28 and a standard size bar for 1.88 each.Okay, so the ice cream bar is already right in front of me.Hmm, too pricey and I am not sure if my kids are going  like it. Being a practical mom, I opted for my kids favorite brand ice cream, a half gallon Blue Bell, dutch chocolate flavor for only $5.97 .It is not the cheapest ice cream in the US but I don't mind buying knowing that it is the best ice cream for my kids.

Rich, creamy chocolate ice cream made with the finest imported chocolate.

For my kids there are no better chocolate ice cream than Blue Bell  Dutch Chocolate ice cream.

As for the Magnum ice cream bar. I will get some when the store has all the 3 flavors in an individual pack.
