Food Corner Wednesday #1



Here is the butter cake with chocolate icing that I made for his 2nd birthday. I can't find any icing decorations in Qatar so I opted for some candles just to make a birthday greeting. It turned out not bad at all. The important thing was, they enjoyed candle blowing and the cake so much.

    Who doesn't like chocolate cake, right? I wouldn't pass up an opportunity to be given this on my birthday! Hehe.. but on a serious note, your son is super lucky to have a mom who prepares his cake on his birthday. Such simple joys. :)

    Homemade chocolate cake for your 2-yr old kid is more than big enough for him to be happy and satisfied. He should be happy for such love, care and resourcefulness of a mother like you.

    i may be a good cook but im not a good baker =(. my husbands wants me to bake but i'm not a fan of it but im definitely a fan of cakes.. love the decorations!
