Nutritious Tessway Sandwich

A sandwich is a quick way to make a meal.for breakfast,  lunch and even dinner. This recipe is inspired by Subway Sandwich that I really like. Since my husband and I like Subway sandwich , we decided to make our own version at home. He called my sandwich "Tessway Sandwich" and made his own with white bread and his choice of fillings.

Ingredients:
  • Wheat bread or whatever type of bread you want
  • Ham or any cold cuts available
  • pepper jack cheese/cheddar cheese
  • sliced Red Onions
  • Lettuce
  • Pickled jalapeno pepper
  • Pickled banana/yellow pepper
  • Sliced dill pickle
  • Red bell Peppers
  • sliced Cucumbers
  • Sliced black Olives
Steps:
  • Put  as much ham and cheese as you want on wheat bread. I don't want too much on mine.
  • Heat to melt the cheese or toast for 1 minute on a hot oven.
  • Top with vegetables and pickles. Drizzle with honey mustard.
  • Put the other half.
  • Serve with iced cold soda and enjoy eating.

  2. I love veges and cheese... I'll try this on my offday, but I have no oven. I would probably use the liquid type cheese (what do we call that?)or just heat it on a non-stick pan. ^_^ I usually do bread toasting on a non-stick fry-pan because I have no oven and bread toaster; perhaps method this will also work for this burger. ^_^
