Fried Salmon



I always love salmon ,my favorite fish actually .I really like the juiciness and the taste of it .I bought 1 kilo for QR 60( $17 ) last week and asked for the vendor to cut it for me and left for some more grocery stuff then came back after a while .I took the fish out of the plastic once I get home but to my dismay ,the slices was too thin,hmm!. I like it better if it was a little thicker but what else can I do.Here is my salmon with just salt and pepper fried in olive oil.Me and my son enjoyed eating it dipped in soy sauce with lemon and lots of rice and sliced cucumber.

  1. Waaaa! I also love salmon but it costs an arm and leg here. Di pa whole fish yun ha, slices lang. Grabe! Once in a blue moon lang kami bumibili nito.

  2. i also love salmon--but i prefer to eat it raw, baked or grilled. it gets too oily when fried--sabagay healthy naman ang salmon oil.:p

    anyway sistah, are you sure this is salmon? it doesn't look like salmon--pinkish kasi ang flesh ng salmon.:p

  3. hehehe,napatinign tuloy ako sa photos. gusto ko kasi brownies talaga pagkakaprito ng fish. pero juicy pa rin at pinkish sa loob yan.

  4. hhahahaa!pati tuloy ako pinagmasdan ko talaga ang salmon lol!I love my salmon to be cooked that way,with only salt and pepper--the simplest way!

  10. that salmon looks very yummy; ma try ko nga na i fry yan....kakagutom tong entry mo eh...tong yogurt di ma satisfy ang hunger ko :-(

  11. the problem every friday with me is that, FTF makes me salivate for all your entries.. here I am again, will rush in nearest market to find salmon, maybe i-grill ko na lang.. gutom na ulit ako..

  13. When I cook salmon, I fry it in a pan, and sprinkle on some pepper, and some butter. But I suspct there is better seasoning out there- What are some ideas to make pan fried salmon even tastier?

  14. Use a sharp knife to remove the skin from each salmon fillet. Rinse with cold water and dry with paper towels. Mix salt and black pepper together then sprinkle evenly to cover both sides of the salmon fillets.

  16. even if it just deep fry in a pan, the taste will come out, juicy and yummy! this is one of my favorites.
